About The Role

With our continued growth, Fern is looking for a dynamic and motivated Digital Marketing Executive who can drive the increased recognition of and interest in Fern and its solutions throughout our target market – microfinance institutions, credit unions, SME lenders and development banks.


The Fern Singapore office is responsible for Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Due to the significant geographical/cultural/language spread, a focus on digital marketing is highly important.


Our enterprise software is typically a key capital purchase that is undertaken on average once every 5-7 years. Our marketing activity generally therefore requires a long-term and focused campaign of targeted engagement to keep us “top of mind” with the relevant decision-makers in all organisations who could potentially be a future client.

You will work closely with our business development team and existing inbound marketing staff, and reporting directly to the Managing Director, APMEA.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining CxO-level contacts in our CRM, via online research combined with direct telephone contact as appropriate

  • Ensuring a system of categorisation for contacts (including type of business, potential nature of relationship, source of contact, existing software) in order to provide a meaningful set of data that can drive tailored communications

  • Developing a digital marketing strategy and workplan, together with relevant budgets from management approval

  • Determining the optimum digital marketing mix, through research into client buying channels

  • Designing and executing digital marketing campaigns

  • Monitoring campaign results and adjusting approaches as appropriate


Hands-on support and guidance will be provided (including training on key features of our software solutions) enabling the successful applicant to gain a wide range of on-the-job learning,

Role Requirements:

This position demands a highly-motivated individual that is able to appreciate and articulate the value that technology can bring to inclusive financial institutions in achieving both business and social aims – who can drive online presence and buzz for Fern solutions, grow and cultivate the global awareness of Fern through both direct and indirect channels, and provide pre-qualified leads for the business development team.
